They are not those who have set their presence to 'invisible'. Their presence
is set to 'visible' or 'online' in their own clients but they do not show up as
'online' or 'visible' on opening the contact list. They are not shown only in
the KDE Telepathy contact list, on all other clients and Web pages they show up
normally.
