You will need to justify each  configuration option to me.

Why would you not want message, nick or photo?

I honestly can't see any rationale behind not wanting to know who sent a
message. It seems quite important information. 

I don't see the advantage of adding the time either, most notifications are
acted upon immediately, and in the use case of you being away and missing the
notification, you're not going to ignore it simply because it's old.

I'm not saying we won't add these, but you will need to convince me as to why.
