Hm, this decision is not up to me.

The question is the following. Does the kde-telepathy team (or in general the
kde developers) want a unified way in all kde apps for selecting different tabs
or not?
This is a question which the kde-telepathy team has to answer (or the
kde-usability team). There should be a disussion about this topic on the
mailing lists or at a developer meeting.

As an user I'm personally intrested in consistency throug different apps. Why
should exist different ways in selecting tabs between e.g. firefox, konqueror,
reqonk and kde-telepathy on the other side?
