Looking at the code, I can see how this would have happened in 0.5.1.
If the user clicks apply before the Kwallet opened, it will crash. 

However, the patch:

"Don't show EditAccountDialog until KWallet is opened"
Commit: 9d39b891aca118267dc9593d2baca8eb34b789fb

which is on the 0.5  branch (but not in 0.5.1) , seems like it would fix this

I'll add an additional guard around this happening, (see reviewboard), but I
think this is (re-) fixed. 

To any one who experienced this - please please test and report back as we
can't reproduce it here.
