If you are using debian (or similar), you just need to install the following
packages:

libpurple0 (2.10.4-1.1)
pidgin-skype (20110407+svn628+dfsg-1)
telepathy-haze (0.6.0-1)
skype (2.2.0.35-1)

and obviously ktp-common-internals and ktp-accounts-kcm

I have no idea on other systems.
