Thanks for the report, but it must be the other session at fault. There's no
way we'd be showing messages like OTR encrypted messages if the other client
wasn't sending them.

If you test in Empathy (which shares our backends and also does not have OTR)
and get different behaviour, please reopen this, and we will do everything we
can to fix it.
