does not want to connect no matter what I do 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create account
2. Name: Freenode
3. Address: irc.freenode.net
4. username: ktplogger
5. ok
Actual Results:  
authentication failed

Expected Results:  
connection

I also tried with my actual account and password, still no dice.
