Simon Contribution and Product Info

Hi,

May I know can Simon be used to intercept the telephone line (landline and
mobile) and translate voice to text?

Also, Can I join you as a contributor?
I know Java as I am Android Dev and can independently debug issues.
Elementary knowledge of C/C++, Python, so will require some understanding.

No knowledge of sound recognition.
