I have never actually tried this before, so I may be wrong (well ... I may
even be wrong when talking about things I've tried, but that's beside the
point ;-):
During installation, you should be able to (de)select components you want
installed.
If that doesn't work, or you just don't want to use the graphical login,
you can select "console login" on one of the drop down menues on the
graphical login screen.
once you're logged in, you can do
svcadm disable svc:/application/graphical-login/cde-login:default
