Thanks for the pointer.  Unfortunately, I received the following  
error, some ways into the checkout:

A    trunk/QT/3.3.7/doc/man/man3/qxmllocator.3qt

svn: Can't copy 'trunk/QT/3.3.7/doc/man/man3/.svn/tmp/text-base/

qpicture.3qt.tmp.tmp': No such file or directory

I wiped out my local copy and tried again just to be sure.  Same result.
