[kde-solaris] Re: fibonacci

I don't know that fibonacci is an adequate benchmark.  I saw a *huge* 
improvement in the performance of the Tyler visualization plugin when I 
recompiled with GCC using -mcpu=v9 vs the default.  Then again, the main 
loop was performing a lot of multiply operations, which were being 
deferred to a function call without the v9 option.  I do not have access 
to any version of Sun Forte newer than 6.1, so I can't really benchmark 
with that.

I'd use the Forte binaries, but I need to continue patching and fixing.  
I'm trying to get korganizer to work better with our Exchange server.
