[kde-solaris] couldn't set locale correctly

Make sure you have installed the Solaris 8 language packs. I seem to
remember that these needed to be installed separately.
Specifically, at least one of these sets should exist:
/usr/openwin/share/locale/en_US
/usr/openwin/share/locale/en_US.ISO8859-1
/usr/openwin/share/locale/en_US.UTF-8
and/or
/usr/lib/locale/en_US
/usr/lib/locale/en_US.ISO8859-1
/usr/lib/locale/en_US.ISO8859-15
/usr/lib/locale/en_US.ISO8859-15 at euro
/usr/lib/locale/en_US.UTF-8
