	Hello all,

I'm trying to install a KDE-3.1.2 version on my Ultra-5
workstation (400MHz, 256MB RAM). I succeeded in installing
QT-3.1.2,
but now when configuring aRts, I finally get:

checking sys/soundcard.h usability... no
checking sys/soundcard.h presence... no
checking for sys/soundcard.h... no
checking fam.h usability... no
checking fam.h presence... no

checking for libjpeg6b... no
checking for libjpeg... -ljpeg
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.1.0)
(library qt-mt) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of
config.log.
Make sure that you have compiled Qt with thread support!

However, the library libqt-mt.so.3.1.2 exists, and QT was
definitely compiled WITH thread support (-threads).
I have set QTDIR=$HOME/opt/qt (where qt is a symbolic
link to $HOME/opt/qt-3.1)

can someone help me with this ???

Many thanks,

Jan
