[kde-solaris] ypbind error in startkde

I've noticed that with kde 3.1 there is still an issue with NIS domain 
name different from DNS domain name as I see an attempt to use the DNS 
name instead of the NIS one.

What is the current situation?

Was the last posted patch (BR 50754) applied to the official 3.1 sources?
