[kde-solaris] How to get AA fonts on Solaris without native XRender ...

Okay, I got fontconfig compiled.  I fixed the problem by using gcc and not cc 
which is an old version.  Now, after  I compiled Xrender, I do get some 
errors relating to a mapfile of size 0 bytes being created when I try to 
execute a make install.
 Do you know what this file is for?
