Nice to hear from you, Tushar. We welcome *all* contributors, not just
students. I suggest joining the KDE-devel list especially if you want to
contribute by coding. The KDE-community list is valuable for everyone!

If you want more immediate communication, please join some of the KDE
irc channels on Freenode. Freenode has a helpful search bot, which you can
use by typing on a new line:
/msg alis list *searchterm*

Besides the getting involved page that has been mentioned, the KDE devel
guide might be useful: http://archive.flossmanuals.net/kde-guide/

Finally, the main GSoC page on the Community.kde.org wiki might have some
useful pointers as well. https://community.kde.org/GSoC

The question I hear over and over, is "where should I start?" And my reply
is always, follow your interests, and your heart. What part of KDE do you
love? What's your favorite software? Do you love design, translating,
drawing, writing, organizing.... I really mean, follow your heart and
interests.

All the best,

Valorie
