Hey

Maybe you've heard of this contest called Google Code-In already:
http://code.google.com/opensource/gci/2010-11/
[BTW, tell your younger friends!]

It's all about introducing 13~18yr olds to the open source world, by
giving them specific tasks to solve, to claim rewards. More details on
the FAQs page:
http://code.google.com/opensource/gci/2010-11/faqs.html
[Expect more spam from me about this later; I'm excited!]

I think most of the previous KDE Summer of Code students should have
gained enough knowledge and experience to mentor younger
students. This is a good opportunity to try picking a different skill,
without taking on the burden of being a GSoC mentor and battling with
university. (The only difference being that you don't get only the
best students)

If you have any ideas for small tasks in your project, please put them
on the community Wiki here:
http://community.kde.org/GoogleCodeIn/2010/Ideas

More on writing good tasks / polishing them will be coming up very
shortly.

Regards
Akarsh
