hi,

this is my first project report because utill now all has been study and 
explore but nothing actually working to show. 

work done so far:

-completed QT tutorial, and chapters 1-4 from svn book.
-got svn account (yet to use it though).
-got kdepim source code and compiled it. bumped into few problems. 
downloaded several missing libs. and finally suceeded in compilation.
-got new working in linux & configure kmail to get mail from my gmail 
account.
-read about email headers from site 
http://www.stopspam.org/email/headers.html.
-had a look at kmail source.( but to no avail).


-change of plans on 20/7 : 
-design a gui for stand alone application demonstrating all deliverables.
-write back-end api and use downloaded emai to work out coding details (
headers.htm comes in handy here).

-----------expected to get something working in 2 weeks from now.

-when this app is working, get back to kmail source and try fit written code 
in there.
-talk to mentor about updating it on svn server.

-----------This should take one more week.
-so that makes about 12 aug. matches aprox to estimated schedule.
  
U are certainly not losing me as a student :-)
