Hi,

I would like to sincerely thank all who contributed to the svn2git project.
This evening we completed a long and very complex migration from svn to
git. The final count of git repositories was 713. Some repositories brought
over 19 years of history from svn.

This migration would not have been possible without svn2git. Our svn
repositories were full of bad merges, improper branch/tag names, huge
checkins and a myriad of of other problems. We had to re-dump the whole of
the svn repository history to replace a 35GB file checkin, and a checkin
which committed 200,000 json files.

svn2git was able to handle every situation we came across. It is very fast
and the rulesets idea is ingenious. I haven't seen that in any other
conversion tool.

Special thanks to Nicolás Alvarez and Thiago Macieira who helped me with
different issues I came across during the migration.
