[Kde-scm-interest] KDESDK->git: time window for doing the migration?

Hi,

now that the 4.9 beta release is currently rolling, is it still possible or 
wise to rush with the migration of KDESDK to have it happen as soon as 
possible?

Or do we better wait and let the migration only happen after the 4.9.0 
release, ATM scheduled for August 1st? That would also give us plenty of time 
to make sure the migration is smooth.

So, what would be the perfect time?
