Hey Will,
I actually started a thread called " next steps with Git migration" on
k-c-d. I suggested removing the 'KDE/' prefix, this got a thumbs up
from togge, and then the thread died.

Maybe you could stir things up a bit and we can find some sort of
decision. The i18n team has requested that all KDE modules have the
same name for version branches and I think we can all agree that it
makes sense.

Your logic is why I thought the KDE prefix makes sense. But the first
thing that happened after the repos were put up was that errant '4.6'
branches were created by people making mistakes when pushing. So I
dunno.
