I just saw a code drop in koffice that is a new plugin, the contributor probably 
put a lot of hours into this offline. Which scares the hell out of me ;)

My point is that this is a social problem and the choice of technology is not 
all that relevant to the whole discussion.
We should turn it into a social discussion and git is a great tool to publish 
early without all the commitments.
