I also expect this to be the case, but new contributors will be easier to 
attract if they don't feel they want to wait for code they don't (currently) 
care about anyway and can simply "checkout" the latest version of 
extragear/kmynewapp.

Such misguided individuals can be "re-educated" once we have their patches.
