[Kde-scm-interest] Have we arrived to a dead end?

Yes.

One repository for each entry under trunk/KDE/*, one for trunk/koffice, but 
everything else splits at one level further down (trunk/kdesupport/*, 
trunk/extragear/*/*, etc.)

We already have the rules for importing that, albeit 2 years out of date.

Cloning everything now with Git isn't much larger than cloning everything now 
with SVN.
