you're about the third one to ask that question, without actually trying
to answer it yourself.

no, it won't be sufficient for us:
- it doesn't deal with the atomicity problem at all
- in fact, it doesn't deal with directly modifying the master
  repositories at all. it pushes all changes to a tool called gerrit so
  the googles can review them.
