[Kde-scm-interest] Have we arrived to a dead end?

I must say I agree. To me it looks like we just need to be able to move a 
folder from repo A to repo B without loosing history. Not that I am certain 
that this is feasible, I don't know git internals too much, but it looks like 
the feature we miss.

and for those of you who like schematics... ;-)

This was the only issue I can remember brought up by the solution of non 
splitting modules. Do you see any other flaws with it? This is considering 
that playground possibly ends up in a branch (if someone else can't think of a 
better solution).
