But recovering again and again deleted branches will lead to work, too.  (and 
harm to all people cloning the stuff)

Yes, it might be common sense to first communicate, but errors happen and I 
would like to be sure nobody deletes some branch I work in by accident. (And I 
would like to be sure I can't do it by accident, too, which is quite nice, 
given misusing of git is easy...)
