did so. seems to work just fine. :) and now we're prepared for qt-copy going 
away, too. 
not only that, accoring to du the entire git repo takes less space than 
trunk/qt-copy from svn (and remember, we have branches/qt/4.4 in svn too!)

attached latest patch; are there any objections, or can I commit this now? :)
