[Kde-scm-interest] Getting started

Hello everyone

I think we should get started on some work.

I'd like to welcome everyone. This mailing list is to discuss a new Source
Control Management tool for KDE. It is not tied to a particular tool,
though I suspect one will dominate the emails.

You may discuss any SCM tool you'd like, but don't expect other people to
understand it. I'd like to start by ruling out two SCM tools from
discussion:

1) CVS -- we're not going back
2) Subversion -- we're already using it

On principle, KDE will also not switch to a proprietary or closed-source
tool. So you don't need to discuss it or compare to it.

That's it.
