I echo Thomas here: I did not understand what you mean.

What do you mean by "blob" modules? Are you talking about the big modules we 
have, with several libraries and applications inside (kdelibs.git, 
kdebase.git above)? Or are you talking about the supermodule concept (KDE.git 
above, extragear.git, libs.git below)?
