In case this is about KMail, this is already possible.
You can have separate folders for mailinglists and set the mailinglists 
address (KMail can even auto detect it if there are appropriate mails in the 
folder).

There is also a KMail action for sending a new mail to a mailinglist, so it 
can be added to the toolbar or triggered by its default shortcut CTRL+SHIFT+N
