The "Control Center" in KDE 4

Now that this thread has become quite long, you might like to take it to the 
usability list (kde-usability at kde.org). There you'll find others interested 
in usability issues, who can help you set up mockups, do user testing, etc. 
Plus you can find out what other work is being done on this.
