Hi

Regarding changing the background image,  I saw a blog in Gnome planet and wished the same thing to be happen in KDE desktop.

To change background image in KDE is really difficult. Because  there  is  only a combo-box and you should know the name of picture otherwise you have to try each image one by one from combo-box to find the right image.
