Do you know about any effort going on in reshaping User Interface System,
specifically a 3D system? Is there any website coordinating such effort?

Thanks,
Adrish

This is absolutely an issue for the distributions. KDE should give CVS to as

many applications as they can afford, it shouldn't be limited because
distributions often don't split the kde modules up into individual apps and
libraries.

Although it would be hundred times easier for distros if kde was split into
library modules and app modules (exc. kdebase). But a vocal minority object
to this for reasons I can't remember.

Anyway absolutely kmuddy should go into CVS, this is the only way that KDE
can
improve, by encouraging developers to become part of the process.

Hey everyone! I found out something pretty cool, when you see the
movie "National Treasure" there is an actual site where you get to
follow the clues and whatnot like in the movie. It's pretty cool,
just check it out. Anyway you can get there by watching the credits
of the movie, and there are a bunch of people who have nicknames,
which are in quotes in between the first and last name. Write down
the first letter of every nickname, and go to that .com. It's pretty
cool, check it out, and tell your friends =D A fun website

No. KDE packages have already enough stale applications with no maintainer.
While
distributions can split CVS packages into several binaries, it's in no way
feasible to
have _huge_ packages for e.g. gentoo, freebsd and people compiling from
source.

So I think, kdegames should only have a set of games that show there are
games for
KDE - for people (and distributions) that like more games, kde-apps offers a
full set
of different applications. And I still don't see MUD clients as mainstream.

Greetings, Stephan
