Agreed. I must "do something" but I don't know whom to contact...

The thing is after my sounds were introduced in SuSE 9.1 instead of old
default KDE sounds, I realised that they really do deserve being in KDE. The
EastWest theme is complete with all the sounds KDE needs. Generic FX have
some extra effects as well.

I know that noone's against that, but I don't see anyone going to include them
though anyways ;-)

There is no problem, the sounds are all ready. I am currently creating new
sounds, but they will be more genre-oriented. The EastWest theme is more
"modest", for an average user.

Doubt this.

Well, is this too hard? I mean, KDE 3.3 replaced all wavs by oggs. My vibes
are all 320 kbps oggs already. All jingles are polished, mastered,
normalized, post-produced and reafy to go. All what's needed is to... copy
them to the CVS and replace the old sounds! Unless I don't really realise
what's needed :-/ ... :-)

Good idea. I can write such an article by the way.

Sincerely,
Artemio.
