KDE has a very decentralized quality process, that heavily depends on
reporting. There is no formal QA process, and there is even a discussion if
in a free software environment, if it is doable.
The tool used in this process is bugzilla.

There are some applications / libraries doing regression testing, storing test
cases, etc... One example is the khtml library.
With your personal experience, you could have a look and we could discuss
practical ways to improve the process. Please check the mailing list archives
for previous discusions on the subject.
