That's great, welcome on board :-) While you lurk, you may want to have a look

From that page you can get more of an idea of what work people have already 
started to do, and maybe slowly take on work. You can begin simply by editing 
a wiki page, putting your name down and making it more up-to-date. You can 
then go on to do whatever work you like in your chosen team.
