You do seem to meet the definition of a hair-splitter though. :-|

The message is OK, but you have a habit of delivering it in almost the worst
possible way. If the KDE Quality project is truly going to succeed, it will
need the support of the developers. You're not the only one who has ever had
a bad day, and I think you should seriously keep that in mind before you
start posting flames to the mailing lists.

Do you seriously think that the dream of every KDE dev was to release a beta
that wouldn't build? Of course not. Although help is always appreciated,
flames do nothing to help your message.

We all know that QC is important, and many developers go out of their way
every day to fix little errors that prevent a clean build. But unless someone
VOLUNTEERS to oversee QC, you can expect more of the same. IMHO the "best"
solution would be an auto-build mechanism, that could build KDE from scratch
with different compilers, but to be fast enough, you'd need a build farm,
which takes money. The software would have to be written. Someone would
have to sysadmin the setup. So like I said, if there's any volunteers, then
by all means don't wait for the call to help. It's already been given.
