I really like: http://quality.kde.org/develop/cvsguide/buildstep.php
If you compare it to: http://developer.kde.org/build/compile_cvs.html
then you will see that quality.kde.org has a good intro to building from CVS.
If http://developer.kde.org/build/konstruct/stable/README would be rewritten
in the same style as the cvsguide on quality.kde.org, then for the
target-audience it would be simple enough. If somebody does not understand a
guide in the style of the cvs-guide, then he or she should be building
software from source (yet). It is still too difficult for him/her.
Rewriting the README should not be too much work.

greetings, Sasha
