accessing a remote CUPS server

Thank you for this tip. Unfortunately, this doesn’t work. I created a file 
/etc/cups/client.conf with the content

    ServerName <my-server-name>

and rebooted my client machine, but the KDE printing dialog still shows me 
only “Print to fiel (PDF)” and “Print to file (Postscript)”.
