Kprinter has stopped working - Unable to start child print process

Mandriva 2007 x86-64

Worked fine up until two weeks ago.

Printing from the command line, from another programmes such as kwrite,
browsing from kprinter and drag and drop from konqueror all gives the
same error.

Printing without kprinter works fine.

I have, since my first post, found that printing from root through
kprinter still works, so I suspect that this may be a permissions
problem, but I have no idea where to look for any file with the wrong
permissions.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply

All the best

Andrew
