"-o scaling=200" has only an effect if you send an image file to the
printqueue
(such as GIF, PNG, JPEG, TIFF).

If you print from a GUI application (any KDE app for example), this app
typical-
ly produces PostScript output and hands this to the print subsystem.

Also, "-o scaling=200" is a commandline option. You are talking to a KDE
mailing
list (where people usually don't use the lp commands, but the 'kprinter'
GUI
dialog for printing.
