Auto is missing in kprinter

Thank you for your quick answer.

I am using CUPS; it runs on a separate server. There was no change. 
All kprinters run on desktops with different versions of SuSE-Linux.

Older kprinters show "Auto" as an input-tray. kprinter on SuSE 9.3
does not show "Auto". 

tcpdump tells me that the cups-server gives all kprinters the same 
information (including "Auto" as input-tray ).

The next thing I will do, is to look at the source-code, that comes with
SuSE 9.3. I will tell you what I find.
