Printer detection - KDEPrint + CUPS

Hello  Michael and Kurt,

I have small question:

When I use:

Add Printer/Class
    => Local printer (parallel, serial, USB)


Then
under kernel 2.4.2X I can see:

Local System
- Parallel
    - Parallel Port #1
        - HEWLETT-PACKARD DESKJET 920C

Under the kernel 2.6.X I can only see:

Local System
- Parallel
    - Parallel Port #1

Do you know to what is it due?

Please find attached also a screenshoot.
