Somehow, konqueror is using a virtual page width that is larger than
the physical page width and then scale the result to avoid lateral
clipping. I didn't say it was due to a banner, but it's one of the
possible causes. Maybe there is a bug in khtml. However, I tried on
a pre-3.4 setup and couldn't reproduce the problem. When printing,
I get a 2-pages result with large fonts.

Anyway, this is something out of the control of kdeprint.
