epson c60

Does it also happen when printing something using "lpr" command-line utility?
When does your system hang up? Before showing the KDE print dialog? After?
Does it happen with all KDE apps (konqueror, kwrite...)?
Does it happen if you print to a PS file? Can you print the PS file using "lpr"
afterwards?

I have a problem with a Epson C60.
On my Mandrake 10.0 box, when I launch a printing job, the system goes on block. 
It is impossible move the mouse and it any key on the keyboard.
