printing to windows xp shared printer fails

yes - i had to make the symlink in order to have smb
printing enabled in kde.

> DEVICE_URI=smb://GROUP/SERVER/printername smbspool
> 0 myuser jobname 1 "" file.ps

this gave me (with the right host/printer)

failed tcon_X with NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
ERROR:  Connection failed with error
NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
ERROR: Unable to connect to SAMBA host, will retry in
60 seconds...

any idea?
