can't print!

I have a new HP deskjet3322 and I've tried to configure it 
through CUPS and i've had no sucesss. I haven't even been 
able to print the motd. I'm running rh8 w/kde on a 266 mHz 
amd processor w/160 megs of ram and a 30 gig hard drive
