Print different jobs into 1 pdf?

Yes.

You missed the kprinter feature to load several different files at once.
They are then be printed one after the other (in the case of CUPS, they
go into the same job with the same job ID).

* either say "kprinter [-d printername] /path/to/file1.type1 /path/to/file2.type2 ...."

* or just say "kprinter" and use the "Files" tab to select several printfiles
   (Oh, and the "Files" tab only is visible if you clicked on the "Expand"
   button on the lower left corner...)
