Eeek! What's that for a device URI. If your printer is locally
connected to the parallel port, the device URI should be
"parallel:/dev/lp0". The printer status sounds logical as CUPS
fails to connect to a host named "dev" on port 631 using HTTP
protocol.
Consider re-installing your printer, using the correct device URI.
